Outline the Year

Try to make an outline of the topics you will cover during the school year.  This will help you stay on track.

Write down each major topic / unit you need to cover.  I recommend following your textbook step-by-step during your first year.  Some textbooks will help you estimate how many days each topic or unit will take.

Introductory Computer Science course

Second Level Computer Science course

• Consider staring the school year with a review of topics covered during the introductory Computer Science course.

Advanced Placement (AP) Computer Science course

• Consider staring the school year with a review of topics covered during the introductory or previous Computer Science course.
